چکیده

Objective: The aim of this study was to describe the surgical techniques and preliminary results inside-out biportal endoscopic posterior cervical foraminotomy (BEPCF) for unilateral radiculopathy. Methods: This involved 36 consecutive patients (38 segments) who underwent BEPCF radiculopathy between November 2020 June 2022. Foraminotomy performed using technique, with surgeon standing on opposite side making skin incisions same foramen stenosis. After widening V-point exposing nerve root a high-speed drill, we used curved osteotome undercut facet joint from inside complete decompression. Results: followed an average 15.5 months found significant improvements in visual analog scale arm pain, 7.3 ± 2.2 0.9 0.7 (P < 0.005), Neck Disability Index, 54.6 16.9 14.6 12.6 0.005). Almost all (94.4%) had good or excellent results. Hospitalization lasted 3.2 days postoperative magnetic resonance imaging showed successful neural Complications were minimal, only two cases asymptomatic abrasions one case transient neuralgia. One patient required re-operation due incomplete decompression. Conclusion: is safe effective technique treating radiculopathy. can achieve decompression preserve approach ergonomic setting.

Comparison of Cervical Sagittal Alignment and Kinematics after Posterior Full-endoscopic Cervical Foraminotomy and Discectomy According to Preoperative Cervical Alignment.

BACKGROUND The progression of cervical kyphosis due to injury to the facet joints and musculature is a major concern for posterior foraminotomy especially for patients with cervical lordosis of less than 10°. However, cervical hypo-lordosis (cervical lordosis < 10°) may be improved with the alleviation of pain and muscle spasms, which corresponds with the disappearance of a positive Spurling's ...
